That said, some rare cards of popular players do have some value. Darvish's cards haven't held a lot of value here - Ohtani has, but Darvish was never as popular. I'm going to guess that it's around 200-300 yen in Japan (about $2-3). Some sellers have luck selling Japanese cards in the US, but the only sold Darvish listings are his rookie card which went for $40 or less. So I'd guess that your card would still be a $2-3 card in the US.

After saying all of that, really, Japanese card values in the US are all over the place, since they're essentially oddballs - low supply, but low demand. We came to the conclusion that this was the third Masters set since the box said "OLM03" and the 2012 box was labelled "OLM02".NPB Card Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01178497208404127283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7480658377503163749.post-80308620411303363282015-08-14T22:21:13.693-04:002015-08-14T22:21:13.693-04:00I think there were two years of Masters series set...I think there were two years of Masters series sets issued; I haven't seen one for this year. Bandai's video-game based cards become obsolete by the next year, forcing players to build a new team from scratch each year (great for sales, I'm sure!) so I tend to see Baseball Heroes and OL cards cheap a year or two later.

Actually, I need to get my lists in order and properly build up my OL type collection. I have singles from some series but no distinction on the different subsets and whatnot.Ryan Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12670458381967699663noreply@blogger.com
