Last week Hitoki Iwase of the Dragons saved his 287th game, which put him past Shingo Takatsu for most saves in NPB history. Of course, Iwase's biggest save isn't counted in that total - it was the perfect inning he pitched in Game 5 of the 2007 Series, completing a perfect game started by Daisuke Yamai and - oh, yeah - clinching the Dragon's first Series win in 53 years.
