NPB Reddit posted a link the other day to a mostly complete broadcast of the Tigers/Giants game at Koshien on April 17, 1985. This particular game is memorable for what happened in the bottom of the seventh after the Giants were up 3-1 and the Tigers got two on with two out. If you want to watch what happened next, fast forward to about the 1:20:00 point in the video.
Randy Bass hit a three run home run to put the Tigers up 4-3 and both Masayuki Kakefu and Akinobu Okada followed him with solo home runs to get the lead up to 6-3. The Tigers would need all those runs to hold off the Giants who scored another 2 runs in the top of the ninth to bring the final score to 6-5. This game is viewed as a sign that 1985 was going to be a magical season for Hanshin and it was as they won their first (and so far only) Nippon Series that year.
