"2018" Vittum Foreign Attack Set

I received my "2018" Vittum Foreign Attack set today, the latest custom set published by Dan Skrezyna.  The official KBO sets don't include any foreign players so for the last few years Dan's been filling in the gaps with his sets that contain all the foreign players in Korea from a given season.  This new set was just published but features all the foreign players from 2018 - hence the quotes around "2018".

This latest set contains 36 cards - 35 player cards and a checklist.  As always Dan's done a great job selecting photos for the cards and put together an attractive card design.  Here's the front and back of Mel Rojas Jr's card (#23) as an example:

I get a kick out of Dan including himself in Rojas's highlights.  He again had only 20 sets printed up and has hand-numbered the back of every card.

Here's some other example cards:

#2

#15

#25

#31

#33
There's a place-holder for the set over at TradingCardDB.com that I'm sure Dan will be adding the checklist and card scans to soon.  If you are interested in picking up a set, contact Dan either through his blog or via Twitter

Wow, I had no idea that Korean baseball card makers don't include foreign players in their sets, that is insane.

Yeah, it's something with the licensing of the cards. I don't think the foreign players are part of the union. This wasn't always the case (with the cards anyway - don't know about the union) as the Teleca sets from 1999 and 2000 had foreign players.

Doing some research about Japanese baseball cards, I came across your Aug. 26, 2019 interview with the "Japan Times." So you have 60,000+ cards, eh? Great job. It's always interesting to read how people get into collecting the things they do.

Sir, Our 37 year old son passed away in 2018. Twenty years ago he became a Physical Therapist Assistant after recovering from brain tumor surgery. He did it to pay it forward so he could help other patients and for 15 years helped many people. He eas an avid baseball lover, having played in his youth and coaching Babe Ruth. I have a sports themed fund raiser and am looking for Japanese, Korean & other foreign baseball cards. Could you help me obtain donated boxes of them for our project? Thank you
