Tomoaki Kanemoto's consecutive game streak came to an end last week. He entered the game as a pinch hitter but didn't get credit for a time at bat when a base runner was thrown out stealing to end the inning. Seems like an odd way to end a consecutive game streak - although much better than Gehrig's way (i.e. retiring due to illness that would eventually kill him).
