Card Of The Week June 2

I need to catch up a little on a couple of events that happened my last weekend in Japan.  First off, on Friday night, May 24, Shosei Togo of the Giants threw a no-hitter against the Tigers at Koshien Stadium.  It was the first time a Giant no-hit the Tigers at Koshien since Eiji Sawamura did it on September 25th, 1936 - the first professional no-hitter ever thrown in Japan.  Here's Togo's 2020 Calbee card (#184):

The second event was Kazuo Matsui "stepping away" from the Lions managerial job - basically the Lions fired him.  He's been replaced by Hisanobu Watanabe, who had managed the team from 2008 to 2013.  Watanabe led the Lions to their most recent Nippon Series title in 2008.  He'd been working in Seibu's front office since resigning as manager in 2013 and had been the team's GM since 2019.  Here's a card of him from a Lions fan club set from 2013:

The other piece of news I need to catch up on is Yu Darvish reaching 200 wins - maybe I can post something about it later this week.
