I'm not quite sure where this card of Koichi Tabuchi of the Tigers comes from. Gary Engel's latest guide book lists a set called "1976 Blank Backs" (JMC 2003). This particular card is not listed, but some of the other cards that I got with this one (from a group of cards I won on eBay a few years back) are.
I had not realized that Tabuchi was so tall :-).

I am looking forward to your Japanese Baseball Card tribute for Hideki Matsui. Matsui announced his retirement today and www.mlb.com has a really nice story with great pictures.

I did a post for him last year when he reached 500 home runs between NPB and MLB. I'm so behind in what I want to post about that I'm not sure I'll get around to another one any time soon.
