Fascinsting reading, and nice to finally have the whole drama spelled out like that to read at once. All this is just further evidence at how baseball is just completely not viewed as a business venture in Japan. It would be interesting to see a sort of Japanese version of Mark Cuban buy one of the NPB teams and run it as a MLB team is run, as its own, for-profit venture.
