So basically I got promo cards of three of the hot rookies for the last two years plus Daisuke Matsuzaka (who was the hot rookie of 1999). It's kind of funny - Matsuzaka had already spent a full season in NPB before the oldest of the other three players had been born (Neo was born April 19th, 2000). And as a bonus, the issue from this year has another hot rookie - Roki Sasaki - on the cover.

Its kind of hard to believe that there are already pro ball players who were born in the 21st century. And that Daisuke Matsuzaka is now old.

My youngest daughter was born in 1998. It's made me feel very old that there are professional baseball players younger than her.
