Card Of The Week July 7
The MLB All Star rosters were announced yesterday and two Japanese players made the AL squad - Yu Darvish of the Rangers and Hisashi Iwakuma of the Mariners. Here's their cards from their first appearances in BBM's All Star sets in Japan - Iwakuma's is from 2003 (#A49) and Darvish's is from 2007 (#A07):

Kinda bummed that both of them will not play in the game. Darvish's on the 15 day DL and Iwakuma pitched 7 innings on Sunday. Was hoping Uehara might squeeze in but he didn't make it.
Me too, although I probably wouldn't have been watching by the time either of them would get in the game. I'm usually too bored with the game by the third or fourth inning...
