Na Ji-wan

Longtime Kia Tigers outfielder Na Ji-wan retired at the end of the 2022 season.  Na joined the Tigers out of Dankook University in 2008.  He became a regular in 2009 and pretty much remained one through the 2020 season.  He was named team captain in 2021 but he suffered the worst season in his career that year and only got into two games in 2022 - one of which was his retirement game.

I really don't know a whole lot about him but his biggest claim to fame involves what he did in the bottom of the ninth in Game Seven of the 2009 Korea Series with Kia and Sk tied at 5 apiece:

This was actually his second home run of the game.  He took home the Series MVP honors.

Na's first baseball card appears to be from the 2010 KBO game set.  He's been a regular in the Superstar Baseball and SCC sets that have been issued since 2014.  Here's a handful of his cards:

2010 KBO Game Set #AL-002

2014 Superstar Baseball Season One #SBC01-099

2015 Superstar Baseball Season Two #SBC1502-117-N

2018 SCC KBO Collection #SCCR-01/22

2019 SCC Premium #SCCP1-19/108

2021 SCC Golden Premium #SCC-21/K18
