For no other reason than I feel like showing off an old card, here's a pair of cards from the 1959 Doyusha Game Set. On the right left is Kazuhiro Yamauchi of the Daimai Orions and on the left right is Masaichi Kaneda of the Kokutetsu Swallows.
On the list of links on the right side of the blog is a section for where to buy card. Yakyu Shop has unopened packs of cards while Rob's Japanese Baseball Cards and Prestige Collectibles sell a wide variety of items. I'm pretty sure both of the latter two sell more stuff than is listed on their website (although Rob has been scaling back to concentrate on writing in the last few years) so you might want to contact them via email. Another place to look would be Ebay.

Wow - those are super cool. I've never seen any baseball cards from Japan. Can you buy new ones anywhere in the states?

I believe Kaneda (金田) is on the right. I am a first-time commenter. I love your blog. DrBillEllis
Do'h! Fixed. Thanks for pointing that out.
