A Flagship, Three Team Sets and an OB OB-LG Set

Time once again to get caught up on the most recently announced sets (as well as one that came out a few months ago)...

- Epoch's annual flagship set NPB will be released on June 17th.  The base set contains 444 cards - 432 cards of active players (36 per team) and 12 cards of OB players (1 per team).  I don't know that the OB cards will be short-printed but since they were the last two years, it's probably safe to assume they will be again.  There are parallels for each card and two serially numbered 36 cards insert sets - "Holographica" and "Gem".  There are 96 different autographed cards which includes both active and OB subjects - if what I've seen on Twitter can be believed, the set will have autographed cards available for Sadaharu Oh, Ichiro and Shohei Ohtani.

- BBM has announced three more of their "comprehensive" team sets.  Each set has a base set of 81 cards*, most of which are "regular" player cards featuring the manager and the players on the 70 man roster plus a couple subsets (which may not be fully defined yet) to fill out the set.  Each set also has 18 non-premium insert cards split into a variety of sets which also may not be fully defined yet.  The Treasure, Esperanza and Antique inserts are all serially numbered.  (If it's not obvious, the "Regular Cards", "Treasure", "Esperanza" and "Antique" columns are the total number of those type of cards in each set)

*Not sure why the Eagles set is only adding up to 79 cards

- Dan Skrezyna had a thread today on Twitter about a KBO set that came out back in January.  It apparently is from an outfit called "Via" and is called "Jamsil Rivalry".  Jamsil Stadium in Seoul is the home ballpark to both the Doosan Bears and the LG Twins and the set feaures retired players from both teams.  Dan's put the checklist for the set up at TCDB.  The base set has 52 cards (32 for Doosan and 20 for LG) and there's a bunch of different types of autograph cards.  Many of the "Doosan" players were actually OB Bears as the team was owned by Oriental Brewing when they joined the league in 1982.  Oriental Brewing got bought in the late 90's and the team became the Doosan Bears in 1999.  So the set features OB OB players (and OB LG players).
