BBM has put out a little box set called "Icons" every March since 2013. Basically it's an excuse for them to include extra cards of the top draft picks as well as the first cards of players who changed teams over the winter out before the 1st Version set comes out (or Calbee's Series One set comes out).
One of the sets of cards I got from Ryan a few weeks back was last year's Icons set. The set has a different theme every year and last year's theme was "Rough Diamond". BBM appears to take this to mean "young players" as everyone in the set was 24 at the time or younger. There are no players who changed teams over the 2021-22 offseason but there's eight of the twelve 2021 first round draft picks along with several of the impressive rookie class of 2021 - Teruaki Sato, Shugo Maki and Takahishi Hayakawa. Other big names in the set are Roki Sasaki, Hiroya Miyagi and Yasunobu Okagawa.
The set itself has 36 cards - three from each team. The boxes were actually sold with 37 cards - the 36 card base set plus one "special" card that could have been either some sort of insert card or an autographed card.
I usually like these sets but I must confess that this particular edition really didn't do much for me. I think the design's just a little too busy for my tastes although it's unlikely to keep me from getting the 2023 edition of this set when it arrives later this month. Here's some example cards:
